Hopeful Horizon
A watchlist of MMOs in development. These games are not playable yet, but they represent the future we want to believe in.
We track these projects carefully and wait for playable access before moving them to the main list.

What makes the Hopeful List
We only keep games here when they match our values but are not yet playable.
- •Announced or in active development
- •Not currently playable by the public
- •Promise of meaningful group play and progression
- •PvE focused gameplay
- •Gives us goosebumps
- •Clear signals on monetization and long-term support
- •Evidence of technical stability when tests arrive
- •Moves to the MMO list once it is playable

Chrono Odyssey
AnnouncedChrono Odyssey is not playable yet, but it represents the kind of ambitious MMO we want to see return.
Why it is here
An announced MMO we are watching closely as it takes shape.
Signals we need
- •Playable public tests and clear access windows
- •Group content that rewards long-term progression
- •Stable servers and performance under real load
- •Transparent plans for monetization and support
- •Built in Korea, but designed for Western immersion and meaning

Lord of the Rings: Title TBD
A Lord of the Rings MMO was twice in development - and though those versions have been shelved, the dream isn't dead. Middle-Earth is one of the richest worlds ever written, a setting built for long journeys, epic fellowship, and stories that unfold over years.
If any studio is searching for a franchise worthy of devotion, this is it. Take up the mantle. Build the MMO that lets us live inside Tolkien's lore - not as tourists, but as travelers.
Middle-Earth still calls.
